Quite typical Carignan fruit aromas, with distinctive notes reminiscent of fig jam. Very pleasant to the nose, but the wine lacked in texture, with a somewhat watery mouthfeel. Still a pleasant wine to drink, and it will satisfy the occasional Carignan craving, given that they are not the most common wines out there.
