Yarra, Mornington, Geelong wine tour day two (Yarra Valley): Very slightly sulphur/bacon fat notes sit behind peachy stone fruit, touches of sweet spice. Juicy tends to medium plus intensity acidity, tangy, grippy texture, peachy fruit here as well, a little savoury saline mineral note on the finish, simple, approachable, nice.

No mlf, so the light creaminess in the texture comes from 10 months on oak,35% new, a fairly high percentage around here.
Nose has traces of oak and oatmeal wrapped round lemon
Palate is smooth with lemon and spice, long with moderate+ acidity
