  • Under screw cap. PnP. I make it a point to drink my domestic Pinot Noirs before ten years. Because I was somewhat impressed by this producer’s 2006 version of this wine, I recently picked up a six pack vertical of this wine from The Last Bottle at a substantial discount. At eleven years, this is “in the zone”. Displays a bright, deep ruby color, absolutely no signs of bricking or visually showing advanced age. Medium plus body. Aromatic profile displays old furniture leather, dried dill, ground all spice, drying red flowers, cherry cola, crushed raspberry, savory plum, and salty brine. Quite complex. Made in a masculine more powerful style. Medium plus acidity provides balance and supports a long satisfying finish. Enjoyed with a large homemade chicken pot pie. Entering early maturity. Seems to have enough left in the tank to cellar for another 3-5 years
