Canary Island wine is growing on me and is very unique. This is an orange wine with skin maceration, so there is an almost bronze/golden hue to it, but it is very clear and transparent. Nose has some funk to it. Slight hint of mousiness, tropical fruit, sea breeze, and a slight herbal note. Medium minus bodied, medium acidity, dry, some light tannins from the skin contact, and medium minus alcohol. Finish is medium minus. Flavors are very mineral and tertiary forward. Volcanic soil, saline, dried nectarine, and tropical fruit. I'd buy again and absolutely support this producer.
