Day 1 - Opened with a touch of rubbery reduction. Initially pure raspberry fruit with some sharp spice (pepper?) building, hints of olive, blackberry and a dustiness - alcohol quite obvious. As expected plenty of chewy tannins to support the sweet red fruits and touches of cinnamon. Definitely acidic. Downside is the alcoholic burn on the finish. Much more balanced with food.
Day 2 - nose much more integrated; palate the burn had died down.

Spicy but sweet with redcurrant and raspberries. Scented, elegant and refined; great for drinking now.

Bright ruby red. The nose is a sulfur bomb. Spoofy red fruit. A bit on the sweet side. Some tannin. Not good.
