  June 30, 2023. Drank from Bin North 8, with Aline, Wally, Michelle and Richard. Gift from Marc. Soft cherry oak nose. Deep dark purple. Dry soft even presentation with chalk and touch of cherry. Still nice after 23 years in cellar. 9/10.

  Lovely aged washington wine. Did not come across as very aged, tasted perfect with lots of cab fruit and herbal components. Drank for a 20th birthday

  Deep red color. Aromas of black cherries, cassis and mocha. Ripe, full-bodied fruit in the mouth with excellent depth and length. Nicely full, complex and integrated on the palate. Very fresh for a 20 year old Washington Cabernet.

  2nd of 2 bottles purchased on winebid. Decanted for 2 hours. I've had limited experience with Leonetti cab, but neither of these bottles met expectations. Makes me question the provenance, particularly given very positive experiences I've had with Leonetti merlots in the past, which have been spectacular. There was nothing detectably wrong with the bottle, just rather mediocre on the nose and palate, and was outshone by a 2015 Ruffino Modus which was about 1/4 the price. Again, score and review should be appreciated in the context of the wine's history, purchased from an internet auction house, whereby provenance and authenticity are difficult to confirm.

  i was actually hoping for more based on the reviews but it certainly was a solid crowd pleaser. pretty much at the tail end of it ideal drinking zone. maybe even a bit past
