Nose starting off with sour cherry, strawberry jam, and sugar coated raspberry. Initially also fleshy and mineral, but changing into fruit-driven. But even then still nicely complemented with light, savory herbs and yeasty elements. The fruit profile adds darker cherry and lighter rhubarb features. Juicy palate with smooth tannin and some weight to it. A varied and versatile wine that performed from the get go without a decant. But patience from bottle age will definitely be rewarded.
