Really good white from Kopke’s São Luis in Cima Corgo, Douro. We drove by the estate on the left bank between Pinhão and Regua, but had this on our cruise. Aged in 300L barrels. There’s some oak here - enough to add a layer of complexity without being overpowering - along with stone fruit, a touch of minerality, and enough acidity to keep it fresh. 60% Folgazão, 40% Rabigato. This could easily age a few more years. 4 years in barrel.
