very pretty nose. A bit of VA lift, but lovely wlanut, brown sugar, spicy notes, cinamon, apple spice.
Palate off-dry ... perhaps simplier than the nose. Strong med+ acid (totally right for Madeira). Not heavy at all. A nice mineral note leads to a long finish. A dry-ish style. Really quite nice with real energy. Nose is exceptional, palate is good. Altogether, a lovely Rare Wine Historic series. Perhaps because its a new blend, it has a lot of complexity. Extremely good value, but limited supply.
