Decanted for one hour. Dark ruby colour. Nose of green pepper, black tea and blackberry. Medium to full-bodied, high tannins, 14.0% alc. First hit is of the tannins, but then the lovely boysenberry and black tea comes through. Paired very well with filet mignon.

Just wonderful "tinto." With lamb loin chops, yukon roasted potatoes, full, deep, dark, luscious, long finish. Does not disappoint. Ready, but may have a couple more years. Glad I bought 4 bottles- three left!
