A trip to Austria must include drinking the national grape variety: Grüner Veltliner. So did we. This one is of the Smaragd quality level, the highest for the region Wachau. The wine has broad complexity of fruity notes: apricot, peach, green apples, pear, citrus and grapefruit. Good minerality and acidity for a long finish.
