Very well made wine. Still lively and fruit forward after 15 years (and in a 375). Enticing fruit, nice earthiness and extremely well balanced with firm acidity. Drinking great.

An interesting dip into the cellar, but just a bit passed it's prime. Color shading towards brick red. Fruit still showing well, with raspberry and baking spices. However, both the tanins and acidity are detectably on the downswing. Adequate structure still there, but definitely drink soon!

A bright and clear dark raspberry color, but an odd note on the nose. A bit chemical-ish and spice of the baking sort, one of 'em anyway. Tangy, lots of acid but not unpleasant, but not delicious either. Sigh - it's obviously going to be one of those nights.

This bottle showed exceptionally well on pop and pour. It feels perfectly aged and the tartness and berries are integrated well with the acid and tannins. Some Oregon Pinots are built for aging and this appears to be one of them.

(Domaine Drouhin Oregon Pinot Noir) Medium cherry red color with clarity; pretty roses and cherry nose; lovely, balanced, tart cherry, red fruit, minerals and roses palate with lacy caramel notes; medium finish 92+ pts.
