Maybe I left this a little long in the cellar. Some oxidation here, but also lovely quince, pine and smoky nectarine notes and still some oak notes too. There’s a plush, smooth texture to the slightly off-dry wine as well. I quite liked this, but I’m OK with a little oxidation. But drink up now if you still have some. Edited to note this improved on the second night, and, strangely, the oxidative notes had decreased, which should not happen...

This continues to mature nicely. The tropical fruits of its youth are slowly evolving into honey and lemon flavours, there's still the hint of pine resin, the finish is getting longer. Should be netter still in another two years. Excellent value.

Same as the last one, a beguiling blend of semi-sweet honey and quince, with a dry, satisfying finish. Excellent.

deep straw color. melon, tropical fruit, hint of butterscotch. very smooth mouthfeel, solid body, good finish. nice accompaniment to pork tenderloin.
