  Cupissimo granato. Deciso frutto e speziatura dolce al naso : mora, mirtillo, prugna rossa, chiodo di garofano, note balsamiche, eucalipto, garrigue, note ematiche. Bocca intensa, tannino piuttosto massiccio ma setoso, bella freschezza che da equilibrio

  Drank at Uncle Moustache. New world fruit with that Granache spice that I could live without. Tasty but much preferred the Ardanza rioja as did Adrianne.

  Digging this - dark red color, cherries on the nose. Palate has darker fruits, very rounded now, acidity on the back end. Short finish. Drinking well

  14,5% d'alcool, Syrah, Grenache, Carignan
  Œil : profond, opacité 7+/10, forte viscosité en parois
  Nez : projection d'intensité 5/10, frais, fruité devant rappelant la mûre, la groseille et la prune, chocolat noir, cacao, torréfié, touche florale, boisé élégant, pierre chaude, touche végétale, complexe, invitant
  Bouche : sec, ample+, acidité rafraîchissante, tanins charnus, prise minérale assez soutenue, amertume moyenne+, très légèrement asséchant, persistance moyenne-longue, rétro fruitée, torréfiée, de cacao, végétale, fumée, amère
  Conclusion : beaucoup de plaisir ici, dans un ensemble qui demeure encore charnu et qui méritera encore quelques années pour s'affiner. Complexité et dynamisme. 90-91

  90-91. Decanted one hour. Big big herbs (garrigue, mostly thyme) on the nose. This is the dominant aroma. Also dark fruit, pepper, black currant, tar. Very complex. Full bodied, chalky tannin, just moderate acid. Good follow through of aromas to the palate. Some sweeter fruit on the palate as well. Long spicy finish. Most excellent.
