Grand Jury du Vin - Republic of Georgia; 11/1/2023-11/9/2023 (Republic of Georgia then stopover in Paris and Dijon): Barrel Sample - Remarkably light color, 100% stem inclusion. Patrick explains the wine gets darker in the bottle. Explosive nose displaying pure red and black fruit, licorice, a hint of stem, rose, perfume, sap and mineral. Excellent concentration, beautifully layered sweet red and black fruit, silky and fluid, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a seamless long pure red and black fruit driven floral finish. I love the gorgeous floral nose and airy texture. 18 month elevage and no filtering.

NR barrel tasting
The wine is 100% whole clusters, and it shows on the nose, with spice and a fresh tart veggie smell ...
palate is elegant, long, fat and oily, fresh and rich at the same time, with elegant oak ... it is a big wine ! 94/95 potential
