A perennial QPR favorite. This is around $20 retail in the Portland metro area and remains one of the great WV pinot values in virtually every vintage. Cherry, red berry, some earthy notes under the fruit, some spice. Made in an earlier drinking style, but this is a serious wine from what I feel is an under appreciated producer who's been making great wines for decades. I can't think of many other producers that consistently makes wines of this caliber at this price point. Buy this to drink on a Tuesday night while you let their Special Select, Ladd Hill, etc. age in the cellar. One of the great Oregon Pinot values.

This rocks. Core of raspberry fruit and earth. Glycerine texture and moreish. Pretty much the platonic ideal of Oregon Pinot at this price point.
