  • Final bottle of this PG and again it was about the same as the previous 2. A good but not great wine. Lemony yellow in color with citrus, acacia, green apple and grapefruit on the nose. Grapefruit, apples, sour lemons on the palate with a really extreme acidity. The finish was a bit abrupt and once again had a very slight medicinal quality to it. 50+3+10+13+4=80 pts.

  • This is an interesting Pinot Grigio offering from Marco Felluga. The color wasn't the straw like yellow you would expect from an Italian Pinot Grigio but rather more lemony yellow like an Alsatian Pinot Gris. Hmmm, strange! The nose was a bit muted but offered citrus, florals (acacia maybe?) and apple. The palate as also rather restrained with grapefruit, apple, melon and some lemony pucker. It was crisp and acidic to the extreme and it was rather light bodied with a short stacatto finish that was a little tight and medicinal to me. It is refreshing right up that finish. Overall it isn't terrible - a GOOD but not a very good wine. 50+3+10+14+4=81 pts.

  • Tasted but without notes and a score as I was leading guided tasting comparing Pinot Grigio to Chardonnay for some wine newcomers. Crisp, grapefruit, citrus and a nice acid/sweet balance. Pure gut reaction is that I was surprised at the quality of this PG and I would score it in the 85-90 range. That was all I remember. I have two additional bottles and I will take more detailed notes with score on the next opening.

  • There pinot grigio in a burgundian bottle. Marco says American's are a bunch of bitches.

But this is good wine. Juicy, full, rich. Good stuff on $17.

  • Nice dark yellow color. Nose quite strong with 'terroir' smell and hint of fruits. Palette soft and velvet, without a dominant taste. A bit weak for its price.
