Wow, what a nose! The green chilli smell jumps into your face and stays there. I absolutely loved it and couldn't stop smelling it for some time. Great acidity with pronounced citrus fruits, hints of grapey sweetness. Nice length. But I just couldn't get over the chilli and green peppers!

Exceptionally light in colour with a tinge of green to it. The nose was lively, fresh, full of minerals and some grassy notes too. Zesty, refreshing palate with bags of lime fruit. A bone dry finish, good depth of flavour through the length with just a touch of bitterness from the Semillon. Without doubt this is a wine best drunk young, within 2-3 (max) years of the vintage. Overall more comparable to a minerally New World Sauvignon than a Bordeaux Blanc. Probably just lacked a little complexity that might have been expected from such a blend of grapes.

A great example of Evans & Tate's wines. Fresh and full on the nose, zesty lime and orange flavours and a crisp, precise and lingering finish. Gorgeous.
