  • The colour is of a deep cherry-red. The nose, of medium intensity, boasts cherries supported by the presence of the wood, forest floor and a fresh balsamic edge. There is a presence of metal (iron) hidden behind these aromas which makes it interesting and is fully integrated in the wine. Feture of the terroir?
The palate in medium-body, very fleshy without loosing elegance or the silk identity of the wine. Again cherries (rather sweet) rapped in some wood and the iron-edge behind it all (never to the point of becoming a flaw feature). The finish is medium with a good set of tannins and a refreshing acidity. Though its not a sea of complexity, the wine is very pleasant. Starting to drink well but i believe it will improve.....drink: now-2012
