  Red with hints of orange/brick. Opens with a syrupy sweetness that integrates with some time (20-30m). Cranberry and not-quite-ripe cherry, ample spice of nutmeg and warm winter spice. Alcohol prominent and adds heat. Time to drink though likely could hold a bit longer.

  On the palate, nice berry fruit but a lengthy wave of hot alcoholic burn at the end of each sip. Not my favorite.

  This wine is appealing and quaffable at some level, but is just too big and sweet for a Pinot Noir. Seems the winemaking stamp is a bit excessive.

  Very smooth. A bit sweet upon opening but that dissipated quickly. Very well integrated and balanced at this stage.
