Loved it. The cork was nearly BLACK. Knew it was going to be full throttle just smelling the cork. Wine is still rather stiff. This can drink through 2018 for sure. Poured a deep red color with hints of purple. Thick wine. Immediate spice and fruit nose. Dark fruits and plum on the palate with taste. Oak, blackberry, licorice, SPICE! Without food this wine is very fruit forward with spice in the middle and a nice aftertaste. With some slightly drier cheeses the wine shifts to more spice in the front with spice that lingers until the next taste. With a good filet mignon this wine is spicy on the front of the tongue throughout the entire taste. This is a well balanced shiraz but honestly it was probably opened up a bit too early....I'd love to see how this one tastes in 2016.

Extremely dark core, with slight bricking around the edges. Medium bodied. Appreciable oak & fruit combine into sweet brown molasses on the nose. Rich Aussie fruit initially strikes the palate, quickly followed by a gorgeous crecendo of acidity & spice through the midpalate, then finishes with surprisingly firm tannins. A tremendous drink with or without food. Classy stuff. Acquired at a discount. [14.7% abv.; $24.00].

Very nice structure. This wine will last several years and the patient will reap it's reward. After several hours, this wine unlocked it's beauty. Very full bodied.

Whoa, this was good. Balances, excellent blend of fruit and cocoa on the palate. Very pleasant surprise.
