(Pierre Gonon Blanc St. Joseph) #1; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-spectacular; lemon peel component; enormous amounts of acacia flowers; subtle butter; seductive; TASTE-crazy amounts of black licorice; a little apple component on the back-end; extremely over-the-top licorice which I kind of like (many will not); a little gloppy for me, but this is young and can age for 10+ years and may improve, but for now it's a PAZZZ; WS-92; GV-87/88

Very fresh and lively. I guessed Nortern Rhône 2010. There is an oily smooth presence here, bees wax texture, good spice, citrus here galore. Mature, but there is absolutely no hurry here.

Robe bien dorée, au nez un peu d'anis, et la bouche est d'une puissance surprenante. Assez gras et rond, ressemble à un Hermitage dans le format, la finale manque un peu de classe pour en faire un grand vin, mais c'est très bon. Il fallait le boire, car le lendemain, il n'y a plus grand-chose dans le verre.

Excellent. Quite open and at perfect drinking window to my taste. Minerals, stony fruits, touch exotic, but really a wine of balance and moderation. Starting to get a bit soft on the finish so would drink bottles from now for sure.
