  • The bottle was a gift from a friend who said he paid under $10.00 for the bottle. There is a Regusci connection - Jim Regusci is one of the principals of NINE NORTH WINE CO., the company that vinted and bottled this wine. There is fantastic QPR here - if you like your cabs very dark in color, strong dark berry nose, big fruit forward taste with a very chewy mouth feel that encompasses the palate with flavor, well integrated tannins and a heavy velvet finish that seems to last forever. This is an "IN YOUR FACE" type of wine that requires food for maximum enjoyment. It is a great example of new world, Napa Cali-cab juice. Alas, it is only available through restaurants and pubs - but my favorite wine shop is connected to a nice little luncheon counter so I have access to purchase this at a very affordable price! Can't wait to make a dash to purchase a case tomorrow when they open!

  • Probaby too young to drink, Open and poured one glass straight from the wine cooler, too cold to start, decanted the rest and drank over three ours. On the nose mentol, violets and oak. The palate is very tanic, probaby because of the young age, flavors of dark fruit and cherries, along with oversteeped dark tea.

  • Smokey after taste, weak nose but alright for an everyday house wine. Will consume with unwelcomed guests. Vintage needs time to improve.

  • i believe this wine is a second label of regusci vineyards. 14.1% alcohol. 79% cabernet, 13% merlot, 5% cabernet franc, 2% petite verdot and 1% malbec. medium purple color with a smoky, curranty nose. the palate is big and fruity and shows rasberry, licorice, and oak, lots of oak, on the finish. medium tannin. an easy drinking cab at a great price, if you can find it.
