I wanted to love this, I've been a Peteoni list member before and was super excited to see their wine pop up on last bottle. The nose started strong, dark fruit and oak, but from the first sip it was overwhelming oak, tasting of saw dust. Day two was worse, the fruit faded a bit and the overwhelming oak remained. Despite being a beloved producer we ended up dumping the last 3rd of the bottle. Hopefully just a miss on 2017 and not reflective of the product they are putting forward these days.
