Very nice Cab Franc. The nose was tobaccoy right after opening and got better as time went on. It was very earthy with on the palate and it lingered longer then I expected. Over about an hour the alcohol ( 14.5) died down some and it was easier to drink. Very nice. I am not good with food parings but this wine definitelyneeds to be drunk while eating something.

taste: beautiful medium/full feel with approachable tannins possesing tobbacco tones, black cherries, dill tones, and blueberries
overall: I'm not normally a fan of cab franc by itself. It just doesn't hit my button all that much, but, this one does. Very expressive with wonderful feel providing a rounded black cherry attacck and tobbacco+dill finish

Less tannic than most cab francs and very approachable now. Cedar, toasted oak, pepper, tobacco and cassis on the nose. Very soft on the palate with boysenberry coating the sides and throughout the finish. Outstanding.

Wet Stone, slight earthiness, and a bit of spice. Good texture, with slightly prickly tannin.

From memory, excellent Cab Franc. Fruit forward, smooth, plummy fruit, good length. Drinks very well now but will last a couple more years at least.

connoisseur wines new world and new additions fall portfolio (Vivere, Chicago IL): nose: very expressive nose with tobbacco, black cherry tones, dill and herb leaves, blueberries, and earthen tones. This nose was impressing me as I'm not used to cab franc alone being this expressive
