Grand Jury du Vin - Republic of Georgia; 11/1/2023-11/9/2023 (Republic of Georgia then stopover in Paris and Dijon): Barrel Sample - One part in Meursault and the other in Puligny. Expressive nose displaying concentrated rich white fruit with a hint of yellow, apple, apple candy, a hint of pineapple, honeysuckle, spicy spices and limestone. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of rich concentrate white fruit, oily and opulent, bright acidity, medium mineral, and a long rich concentrated white fruit driven finish with honeysuckle at the end. Remarkable concentration for a BB.

Trinquée de Meursault - Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Tonnellerie Damy - Meursault): Walkaround tasting with producers. Complex aromas of lemon curd, baked apple, apricot, toasted walnuts, and lemongrass. Similar flavors are slightly more spiced with great intensity for Village level wine.
