Visits in the Wachau and Kamptal; 10/4/2023-10/5/2023 (In and around the Wachau and Kamptal, Lower Austria): The nose is fragrant and fresh with stone fruits, peaches, pears, apples, lemon peels, white fruits, saline, flint, and some acacia flowers. This shows off a pristine style with good depth and balance to the tones. The Medium bodied feel is well balanced and refined with tart, high acidity. The finish has some good length while the acidity has a bit of sting as well. This really could use a few years to fully settle in and show more expression on the nose and palate.
