Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 92.5 points

  • Fully mature. Amber gold color. Banana leaf, pear and subtle green notes on the nose. The palate is rich, yet elegant with honey and caramel notes, balanced out by juicy minerality. Long and perfectly balanced.

  • Very youthful, this reminded of the only other Blanchots Dessus I've had - a 2007 Anglada Deleger. Laser precise and focused palate. White fruit and citrus on the palate with light hazelnut background. Excellent concentration. Really fresh and probably 5-10 years away from full maturity. I liked it a little more than the others at the table. Happy to have another bottle. 92-93
