Retailer tasting (@ HB): In the bouquet mainly red forest fruits. On the palate red fruits as well, strawberries, a touch of sweetness, some earth and oaky flavors. Good acidity and round tannin. Ok length. Nice wine.

PnP. Garnet with slight browning. Barnyard and potato chips on the nose. A lush and smooth palate, earth, generous fruit still entirely covering any tannins there might be hiding, short to medium finish. Nothing too complex but a well made and pleasant village. Should be good for a couple more years.

À la couleur, je me dis que cela doit être un bourgogne. Hop, un nez dans le verre : effectivement, c'est un pinot noir bourguignon. Voilà qui me rend joyeux. Prix : 26,5 euros 15,5/20

(Domaine Lignier-Michelot Morey St. Denis En la Rue de Vergy) Dark cherry red color with pale meniscus; slightly bretty, framboise and strawberry nose; tasty, strawberry, roses, tart red fruit palate with charm and some depth, acidity and integrated oak; medium finish
(Lignier-Michelot Morey St.Denis En la Rue de Vergy) The nose is deep and shows a little minerality and fine herbs over subtle red fruit. Ripe with very nice texture - you can still feel the oak as you move into the finish, but this will soften and there is good length. A nice wine in the making.
