  • Very nice bottle of pinot. Pop and pour. The color is a deep burgundy. On the nose tobacco, earth and graphite with some red fruits. The flavor profile includes tart cherry and currant, graphite, and a bit of tannin. Long finish with a bit of numbing tannin. I would say this wine is good for at least another three years.

  • First time I've had the Thorn Ridge after many great bottles of Olivet Grange. This doesn't in any way feel like a step down, and I can't think of another West Coast producer that seems to dial in a Burgundian style so effortlessly as Inman. This is super-alluring with a comfortable, velvety texture and fresh red fruits that still have some floral lift, laced lightly with an interesting gravely element underneath. Hard to put down the glass - this is just so satisfying to drink.

  • Nice bottle of aged domestic pinot. The color is on the dark side for pinot and is a clear ruby color. Still plenty of fruit and structure to go at least another 3 years, possibly more. Nose with fig, smoke, forest floor and earth. The palate has well integrated flavors with cherry fruit and pepper-spice. Still some tannin detectable but all-in-all the wine has good balance. IMHO this wine is at its peak now. Have one more bottle to see how a couple more years effect this wine.

  • Lovely floral/herbal nose, along with lots of red berry. Medium+ body, acidity, alcohol. Low tannins. Berry, cherry and spice on the palate, and some steely minerality and a little forest floor. I see no evidence that this is fading. Lots of fruit and structure. Very nice!

  • Great nose of thyme, rosemary and red fruits. Like most Inman wines, light bodied, with vibrant acidity. Beautiful wine, but it might be fading time to drink up.
