  Decanted for about 3 hours. Color on the lighter side closer to garnet, perhaps showing a few years aging. Nose was more mineral and stone with some soft red fruit in the background. Palate was very smooth medium to full body. Hints of graphite, subtle finish. A different representation of a Syrah not over done. Elegant, it stands out. 5,12,16,6=89
