  prachtig glas, mooie minerale neus, steenfruit, vuursteen, komt in de buurt van de oudere chablis van Raveneua, smaak is zuiver en intens, prachtige frisheid, echt iets bijzonders, kan heel mooi ouderen

  This was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't very impressed with the 2001 Cotats on release, so I put a few away to see what would develop. This was very pale in the glass with a barely discernable nose. On the palate initially (deceptively) light, but there is an extra dimension there as there often is with Cotat. Almost rich, but not, with flavors just nicely in balance. Certainly not as showy as the best Cotats, but a good bottle of wine.

  Fascinating wine, amazing finesse, great aromatic concentration, almost Côte d'Or-like weight, unmistakeable Sauvignon-acidity, great length.
