Curious wine this. Lots of oak along with some fairly rich and heavy tropical fruits (melon, pineapple) balanced out by decent acidity. Not bad at all.

3rd Deals Gastronomy Fair; 3/29/2015-3/30/2015 (Grande Bretagne Hotel, Athens): (80% Semillon, 20% Rolle, big 300lt-1000lt barrels to ferment and mature the wine) Color more alike the 2011, the noes is clean, mineral driven with dried citrus and pear notes, a nice airy flowery potpourri feeling, ripe white fruits in the back and a tiny flint hint. The wine is dry, medium+ body and intensity, there is toasted note like the 2012, roasted almond with dried pear with an almost drying acidity, incredible backbone and medium to long pineapple finish. Outstanding quality, great to drink now but could hold more.
