  Color is medium purple. After 20 minutes, the nose has this pronounced violet, black plum, black cherry with some sun dried tomato. Little bit of charred wood. Some dried fruit as well. Taste is dry, medium to high tannins, medium to high acidity, full body (not too full). Taste is similar to the nose but the sun dried tomato and dried plum stands out. Lingering finish. A little too sweet for my palate but nevertheless a well made dinner wine, well worth the price.
