  Past its prime - a bit of plum and fruit when first opened but faded away. Every day pleasant wine. Nothing more.

  For the price point ($10), this wine is okay for an everyday table wine but found the structure couldn'thold up with the filet mignon that we prepared. Nice dark berry taste at the start but the finish leaves something to be desired as thisone trails off fairly quickly.

  Color is a medium deep garnet, as you would expect. Plum, cedar and oak. But as it crosses the palate, an odd sweetness that is clearly out of balance. The finish is very tart. This is no better than hotel banquet cocktail party material.
