  • This followed the 1900 Petrus and a good place as the Petrus was so mouthcoating that we needed something crisp to refresh our palates. If this were the only wine I had that night, it still would have been a great night. Even after all of the Champagnes we had earlier, this was fantastic, definitely in the top 5. White flowers and clams shells on the nose, great mousse. Roasted nuts, buttered toast, vanilla, mineral finish and perfect acidity. Great mouthfeel as usual.
