  • I walked through the minefields of Burgundy and stepped on a dinger with this one. While it wasn't necessarily terrible, it really just didn't have anything to make me even want to finish the bottle. Upon initial opening, it seemed thin and flabby with a metallic finish. After about 30 mins or so, it started to show a little better but just never really had the stuffing to make it enjoyable. For the price ($29), I am really disappointed. At the time that I opened this bottle I still had a glass of RRV pinot from August West sitting on the counter from the night before which was far and away more enjoyable, even though it had been sitting out on the counter for 24 hours.
