  Black with a deep ruby rim. Intense mixed berry compote on the nose. Full bodied on the palate, lots of sweet fruit with hints of spearmint and cocoa. Some residual heat on the finish.

  Nice big fruit, with some of that typical Santa Ynez earth and spice. Overall, fairly well balanced.

  Decanted for 45 minutes. Mild nose with hints of .... I can't remember .... it was the third bottle of the night. Extremely smooth and delicate for a new world pinot. This bottle has aged nicely. Drink know if you have it.

  Rich and opulent with oaky notes of red currant and macerated dark cherry fruit. Approachable now, but very stuffed, revealing lingering fine tannins on its finish that suggest this is material for aging.
