mostly non fruit notes of tobacco and gravel dominate with darker red fruit in the background. not a blockbuster by any means but good wine that works well with a steak. drink up

Earthy, tobacco cedar and leafy forest notes almost overwhelm the red fruits and spice. Medium-bodied, fully mature, there is no reason to hold this wine any longer.

nose shows pencil shavings, wet gravel and cherry pits, very dry, medium to full bodied, the palate is laced with mineral, earth, tobacco leaf, rainwater and jasmine tea, not too much fruit here, all about the terroir, in peak form right now, enjoy with food and expect a dry red wine with leafy nuances

MAGNUM Some development in terms of appearance but surprisingly deep/dark. Developed nose: vegetal and stemmy, but not necessarily under-ripe. Graphite, leafy dark fruit. This is perfumed and increasingly appealing to me, a little salty too. A little muddy on the palate perhaps? Supple and resolved but with good energy and salty/tangy savoury edge. Holding up very well, a little different and delicious.
