90 pts nice and easy drinking as the night went on it opened up better after an hour open in bottle, hint of grapefruit more white peach and fennel with nice acid to balance on your palette, could last for up to 5 year

Santa Barbara Wine Tasting Weekend; 3/27/2009-3/30/2009 (Solvang, Lompoc, etc): Tasted in a flight at the winery. Very pale color with grapefruit and tropical citrus on the nose mixed with a bit of of a floral element. Good, but my least favorite of the three Fiddlehead Sav Blancs. I prefer the Happy Canyon to this one as it is much more interesting.

Weekend in the Santa Ynez Valley; 3/27/2009-3/30/2009 (Solvang, Los Olivos, Lompoc, and surround areas): Tasted at the winery. Almost entirely clear in color with some slight gold. Nose is pretty thin, but there is some grass and tropical fruits. Crisp and clean with tastes of lemon and lime with a grass minerality on the mid palate into a very long floral and tropical fruit filled finish. Overall a bit thin, but still quite enjoyable.

Nice summer sipper. Lots of citrus - well balanced.
Probably time to drink up.
