Tasted from a quarter bottle left in the fridge since July (3 months ago). Unbelievably the colour showed no darkening, bouquet subdued but on the palate it was still super fresh. Unbelievable. This will last centuries.
Golden colour. Gorgeous sultana and honey flavours. Rich, mouth-coating palate with some lively acidity. Long, lovely legs. Finished clean with a surprisingly dry finish. Perfect time to drink.

Golden to amber. Great intense bouquet with botrytise, honey and saffron. Smooth with good acidity and relatively high sweetness. Long finish. Perfect balance.

This remains one of the most consistent producers of wine of ANY genre in the world; I almost feel like I take their greatness for granted. Lots of reviews so I don't need to dwell on my own notes, suffice to say the wine is indeed in peak drinking window now as others have pointed out. It's at an interesting inflection point, where the secondary sweet elements are still expressive - marzipan, caramel, almond, but the wine has just ever so slightly started to turn dry. I sense a lighter intensity here than the amazing 2001 version of this wine, so I suspect it has probably 7 to 10yrs left before it starts to change profoundly. We drank this over several nights and it held up very well, perhaps just losing a step on the 6th night (which is admittedly long to keep it open). World class all the way.
