Really pretty lemon verbena, honey, flowery alpine meadow nose. Palate is poached pears with some rindy grapefruit. 156g/L residual sugar with good freshening acidity, not a showy wine but kind of airy in its intensity. Good with lemon creme brulee but maybe better alone.

A beautiful golden yellow. The nose was relatively light - sweet candied fruit, heather honey, and warm gingerbread. The taste was a luscious mix of wild flowers, candied pears, guava, and honey. A lingering finish of honey, vanilla, and tart acidity to balance it out. Simply outstanding!

This wine is a treat! Bravo to the wine maker. Daring, sweet, with its own personality to accompany a special appetizer. Had it with a crab salad.

Domaine Weinbach Wine Masterclass (World Gourmet Summit 2005) (The Sentosa Resort & Spa, Singapore): Golden yellow. Complex oily nose of mushrooms and fruit. Rich and viscous with intense concentrated fruit and piercing acidity. Elegant with a long finish.
