  Dyp mørk rød farge. Flott klassisk aroma med preg av kaffe, mørk sjokolade, lakris, plomme og tobakk. I munn er den pent fyldig med tilstedeværende, men integrerte tanniner. God lengde. Fint moden St. Emilion som er overraskende god gitt årgangen. Fungerte utmerket til grillet storfe.

  The wine was dark ruby in colour and offered floral notes, plum, raspberry, leather, chocolate, spices, black pepper and liquorice on the nose, complemented by hints of After Eight and eucalyptus. On the sweetish palate the wine showed blackberry, plum, some raspberry, chalk, tobacco, chocolate, spices, liquorice, eucalyptus, herbaceous notes and a distinct spiciness, with medium-level acidity, medium-level, medium-fine, slightly astringent tannin, moderate heat from the alcohol and very good length. Good not great, but respectable in the context of the vintage. Drink now and over the next four to five years. 88+
