Deliciously fruity with a bouquet of melon and cherry. I thought this might accompany spicy foods but it didn't stand up very well. Recommended with cheese and dessert and you'll be quite thrilled.

Crisp and tart, even a little bitter, but good. Red and stone fruits and a slightly herbal, savory edge. Creamy, medium body. Paired really well with fried fish sandwiches with tomato, onion and cilantro.

Grenache Tasting (Brentwood, CA): Beautiful aromas of watermelon, roses, and strawberries. Bright and summery on the palate, with notes of Maraschino cherries and lemon zest. Slightly hollow on the mid-palate, but overall quite nice and very refreshing. 87-88 points.

To Benley's Vietnamese. Perfect with the food. Bold flavors of strawberry, melon, pomegranate. Structured, no RS, and did not show alcohol. As it warmed this got even better. This could easily age for a few years and show more complexity. Terrific QPR at 12 ish.

What's not to like about this? Refreshing but with good body... wait.. I'm talking wine right? But so true. This has been a hit whereever it goes.
