  • White flowers, pear, melon, honey and hint of spiciness on the nose. Fruity and floral - almost without oak notes,
Dry, a bit oily and medium bodied with medium high balanced acidity. Initially the palate follows the nose but turns quickly to spices, mushrooms and nuttiness. The toasty oak gets quite heavy in the lenghty finish.
A perfectly decent wine that should pair well with a variety of foods.

  • Opened and decanted an hour. Servd with a steak and guinness pie.

Wow smells great. I think it has leather on the nose and dried flowers... something else too. In the mouth it is very tannic. Fruit is hard to pick out due to the tannins. It shows some complexity of flavors and should mature nicely into a 90 pt wine. very tasty, but very young. Long finish but no complexity yte.

  • Pretty nose of white flowers. Slightly waxy, and then just moves into a sligthly oxidized thing. Off bottle, or already old?
