Decanted an hour, with truffle brie and comte. Secondary flavours abounding shortly after the quick aeration. Still statuesque and reminding of a great pedigree.

Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of dark ruby colour, with fading garnet rim and legs. Nose: Clean, with pronounced intensity aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, ripe dark cherries, savory, cedar, chocolate, earth, mushroom. The wine is developing. Palate: Dry with medium acidity, the wine has medium tannin of ripe and silky texture, medium alcohol, medium body, with medium (+) flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark cherries, earth, cedar. The wine has a medium (+) finish. Conclusion: Very good quality St-Emilion with a phenomenal intense nose showing great complexity, the wine has an elegant palate, well-balanced and showing good finesse with silky tannin, good concentration on flavors and a fairly long finish. It is ready to drink now and can maintain for 2-3 years.

Very pretty, this understated wine is smooth and supple with subtle aromas and flavors of black cherry, earth, coffee grounds, rosemary, and violet. While it lacks power and concentration, it is very easy to drink and is perfect for a quiet introspective evening.

Dark red, black currants, dark fruits, smooth tannins. Not particularly long finish, a classic Bordeaux, well-integrated tannins.

Decanted, with food, didn't help. Decent earthy nose. Nothing after that. Drinkable; but just barely.
