This likely benefited from a decade of aging and it likely at its apex of its tasting window. This was medium full bodied with a brownish tone in the dark ruby color that reflects some classic Cabernet aromatics and flavors that are apparent in this wine – tones of tar, leather, spices, and tobacco accent the black berry and plum fruits before turning to some toasty oak and hint of mocha on a short slightly edgy finish.
Opened for about 2 hours before tasting critically. Dark berry & cherry with a bit of currant, spice and oak on the nose. Nice vibrant fruit with acidity to balance. Some earth, leather, chocolate and mineral notes, medium-full body, chewy tannins, medium finish. Good but not great QPR.

Was given this bottle of wine 2.5 years ago, was told to let it sit for a while as it's incredibly tight. I don't know if I've just caught this wine in a dead period, or if it's an off bottle otherwise. I guess I'm inclined to give it some benefit of the doubt, but will score it as it's in the glass.
Great nose, bright fruit, some clear oak notes. Much thinner color than I would have guessed based on the nose, and walla walla in general. Some nice fruit, the a completely hollow middle. The finish completely falls off, leaving you with an acidic mess. I've never experienced a wine quite like this, but at the moment it's among the worst wines I've even poured for myself...
