A good nose with black cherry, an underlying leather and graphite. A sweet tangy fruit on the palette, slightly chewy with a nice clean tannin filled finish. Though a fine drink it doesn't measure up to some other 2004 Cabernets, I also don't see it becoming better with further aging but it will still age fine. 89, better 2004's out there

Loads of black current and hints of thai basil in this Cab. Initially the oak was a little too much for me, but it smoothed out once the bottle breathed for an hour or so in the decanter.

Has that oaky St. Francis nose. Very smooth with well-integrated tannins.
