As I have been drinking these up recently as possibly having slipped past best time to drink, the last bottle was excellent. Wonderful fruit, delicious and memorable taste. Rather than give it the 90 it deserves, I'm knocking it down a point for a bit of inconsistency with other recent bottles.

A joy to drink, this is an expressive, uniquely flavored bottle of wine. Thick and rich without being heavy. The flavors of this wine span the spectrum from dark fruit on the attack, to herbal and savory on the midpalate, and a slatey/graphite note on the finish. Clearly handcrafted, and a testament to boutique, small scale winemaking. Excellent.

Paired with a turkey/pumpkin chili - not as weird as it sounds, and this was smooth, blended well, just really a lovely wine!
