  • A very nice, not too concentrated Riesling from Kamptal. It was rather yellow in colour. The fragrance was pure aged peach and apricot. It had almost the character of dried fruit. The gentle acid helped the wine not to appear too "sweet" (don't get me wrong it was defenitly dry, but the aged fruit aromas are more sweet and stronger than the aromas of a Fresh-Style-Riesling). The taste had the same aromas. Its lengh was a little bit short. The aromas lost their power too fast in the glass (just after some minutes). I would suggest to drink this one right now and you better drink it fast.
